Patient-to-nurse ratios are typically 5 to 6 : 1.

Common equipment used includes EKG machines, code carts, and various monitoring devices.

The electronic medical record system utilized on the unit is Meditech.

Typical procedures performed may include small incisions and drainages, peritoneal dialysis, and occasional thoracentesis.

Candidates should exhibit a high energy level and a positive attitude.

The dress code requires navy scrubs, with no cotton jackets permitted.
