Senior Manager, Strategic Planning & Events
At the heart of every high-performing organization is a rhythma cadence of meetings, priorities, and events that align teams and drive execution. The Senior Manager, Strategic Planning & Events will be responsible for orchestrating this rhythm across the business, ensuring seamless planning and execution of internal operations, executive engagements, go-to-market activations, and corporate-wide events.
This role blends strategic planning, operational rigor, and creative execution. You will work cross-functionally with leadership, marketing, sales, and people teams to deliver high-impact experiences that reinforce organizational priorities, culture, and brand.
Business Cadence & Operational Rhythm
- Own the planning and execution of recurring leadership and cross-functional meetings (e.g., QBRs, all-hands, strategic offsites).
- Develop and manage meeting agendas, pre-reads, follow-ups, and action tracking.
- Ensure alignment across teams by maintaining a consistent operating rhythm and communication flow.
Executive & Leadership Events
Plan and manage executive-level engagements including board meetings, leadership summits, and strategic retreats.Coordinate logistics, content development, and stakeholder communications.Serve as a liaison between executive sponsors and operational teams to ensure flawless execution.Support building board materials and board meeting preparation.Go-To-Market & Enablement Events
Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to deliver impactful GTM events such as product launches, enablement sessions, and customer briefings.Align event strategy with business objectives and performance metrics.Manage vendor relationships, budgets, and post-event reporting.Corporate & Culture Events
Work with the People team on the planning and execution of internal culture-building events including holiday parties, recognition programs, and team-building activities.Collaborate with People team to reinforce employer brand and employee engagement.Ensure events reflect company values and foster inclusion across global teams.Qualifications
5+ years of experience at a SaaS company in business operations, COGs, or strategic planning roles.Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.Strong communication and storytelling skills; able to distill complexity into clarity.Experience with digital collaboration tools.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.Background in a global organization is a plus.Preferred Attributes
