Huron Consulting Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced Patient Access Manager to join our Managed Services team supporting Munson Healthcare. This role will oversee patient access operations at Manistee Hospital, Paul Oliver Memorial Hospital (Frankfort), and Cadillac Hospital, ensuring high-quality service delivery and operational consistency across all three locations. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative leader with a strong background in patient registration, scheduling, and front-end revenue cycle operations. A key focus of this role is driving patient satisfaction through efficient workflows and compassionate service. This position requires onsite presence three days per week across the three facilities, with the flexibility to work remotely up to two days per week.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead and manage patient access teams across Manistee, Frankfort, and Cadillac sites.
• Oversee patient registration and front-end operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Drive improvements in patient satisfaction through service excellence and staff engagement.
• Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as registration accuracy, patient wait times, Point of Service Collections and throughput.
• Collaborate with Munson Healthcare leadership and Huron's Managed Services team to implement best practices and process improvements.
• Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to onsite staff.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and other regulatory requirements.
• Resolve patient concerns and support a positive patient experience.
• Travel weekly to each site to maintain visibility, support staff, and address operational needs.

Required Skills

The estimated salary range for this job is $80,000 - $105,000. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron's annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron's pay for performance philosophy and Huron's benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
