Begin your journey as a Medical Assistant (MA) with the Health First Medical Assistant Program in partnership with Treasure Coast Technical College. Benefit from tuition assistance while acquiring essential on-the-job experience.

As an MA, you will work alongside physicians, nurses and other office staff, mainly in medical offices and clinics :

• Measuring patients' height, weight and blood pressure.
• Preparing patients for their exams.
• Updating medical records.
• Scheduling appointments.

Qualifications

Must have high school diploma or GED, pass a background check, and gain admission to Treasure Coast Technical College Medical Assistant program.

Upon program completion, associates must agree to continue working as a full time MA at Health First for 12 months.

Only tuition is covered. Supplemental costs such as scrubs, books, labs, testing, and certification fees are not included.

Program is 7 months (765 hours) in length and is Monday - Friday daytime hours which also includes a clinical externship at a Health First location.
