We're looking for an Office Experience Coordinator to join our client's team full-time in New York City for a 12-month temporary assignment .

This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in office operations, employee engagement, and event coordination while supporting a vibrant, mission-driven team.

Your Job

  • Provide top-notch customer service for employees, candidates, visitors and guests by greeting them warmly, answering questions, and assisting with requests.
  • Be the first point of contact at the reception desk welcoming visitors, accepting mail and packages, ensuring that the lobby / reception area is organized, and managing our visitor / mail software system.
  • Collaborate with the Workplace Operations Manager to plan and execute company-sponsored events and company-wide meetings.
  • Partner with the Workplace Operations Manager to triage and close out employee requests and queries via our Employee request system.
  • Ensure that the office supply areas, parents' rooms, wellness rooms, phone booths, and conference rooms are fully stocked, neat, and organized.
  • Coordinate all training rooms, all-hands areas, and other large bookable space calendars for team and employee requests.
  • Maintain good working relationships with all department partners and work cross-functionally / geographically with internal teams and external vendors at Indeed.
  • Assist the Workplace Operations Manager and Regional Workplace Operations Manager as needed with special projects.

Requirements

  • Have 2+ years related experience : candidates are highly personable and service-focused
  • Be constantly aware of your surroundings and proactively offer assistance when needed
  • Demonstrated customer service skills, including approachability, understanding, attentiveness, empathy and positivity.
  • Should demonstrate strong problem-solving and solutions-oriented skills.
  • Organized and has the ability to quickly adapt to change when needed.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Can do attitude and strives to do more for a growing team!
  • Exceptional computer skills and must be clearly tech-savvy with experience in people operations software such as helpdesk or Employee request systems. Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) experience is a plus.
  • Language requirements : Excellent verbal and written skills (in English across all locations, including local language requirements i.e. Japanese for Japan, Dutch for Amsterdam, French in Paris, Brussels, Montreal, German for Dusseldorf office)
