Job descriptionHigh school diploma or equivalent. Experience in emergency medical care. Valid NC driver's license. Strong interpersonal skills for effective public engagement. Established in 1990 : Growing from EMT-Defibrillation to providing top-tier EMT-Paramedic care in North Carolina. High Call Volume : Handling around 12,000 service calls annually with a fleet of seven ambulances and Quick Response Vehicles (QRVs). Professional Guidance : Operating under the direction of our Medical Director and North Carolina Office of EMS approved treatment protocols. Clinical Excellence : Access to advanced equipment and treatments like Whole Blood products, IV pumps, RSI, LUCAS devices, Ballards, and more. Family-Oriented Approach : Every team member is a valued part of our close-knit family, with an emphasis on collaborative growth. Continual Learning : Regular, on-site continuing education sessions led by seasoned professionals. Considerate Scheduling : Assignments near your residence, with flexibility as needed. Top-Notch Equipment : Ambulances equipped with modern necessities such as power stretchers, auto-loaders, stair chairs with Stair-Tread systems, CAD systems, and Life pack 15 monitors with Wi-Fi capabilities. Encouraging Innovation : Paramedics are supported in researching and presenting new advancements in the EMS field. Expert Team Structure : Supported by Paramedic Shift Supervisors, a Training Officer, and an EMS Operations Chief.
SALARY RANGE : $46,800 - $72,528 + Overtime + Paid Holidays

DESCRIPTION OF WORK : Fulltime employees work 24 hour shifts on a 9 day rotation. Sampson County EMS provides all continuing education needs for re-credentialing as well as diverse training in Airway Medic & Tactical Medic.
Salary and Benefits :
- Attractive Compensation : Starting salary at $46,104 with the opportunity to earn upwards of 240 hours of paid overtime annually, significantly increasing your potential earnings.

- Work-Life Balance : 24-hour shifts in a 3-day rotation followed by four days off, ensuring both professional fulfillment and personal time.
