JOB SUMMARY

TheG.M. of Production, sometimes called aPlant Manager,oversees all aspects of a manufacturing facility, leading teams,optimizingproduction processes, ensuringqualityand driving efficiency to achieve financialobjectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership and Management

Lead and motivate a team of production employees, including managers and supervisors

Ensure effective communication and collaboration within the production department

Implement andmaintaina culture of continuous improvement

Production Operations

Oversee all aspects of the production process, from raw materials to finished goods

Optimizeproduction processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs

Ensure adherence to quality standards and safety regulations

Manage production schedules and ensuretimelydelivery of products

Financial Management

Develop and manage production budgets

Monitor and control production costs

Identifyopportunities for cost reduction and improvement

Strategic Planning

Develop and implement production plans to meet company goals

Identifyand address potential production problems

Stay informed about industry trends and best practices

Other Duties

Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

Manage inventory and procurement processes

Develop and implement training programs for production employees

Provide regular reports on production performance to senior management

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, OperationsManagementor related field

5+ years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role in an ISO 9001 manufacturing facility

Proficiencyin Lean, Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement methodologies

Strong leadership and communication skills

Expertisein production management and quality standards

Financial and budgetary management experience

WORK CONDITIONS

Physical Demands / Work Environment :

This position regularly requires walking, standing, sitting, stooping, bending,kneelingand climbing stairs. It also occasionally requires pushing, pulling, twisting, lifting 50+ lbs. and working in a variety of weather conditions and noise levels.
