Patient Demographics : Adults

Phone Consults : Yes Provider should be available 24 / 7 for emergency consultations

Case Mix : General Psychiatry (correctional population)

Office Equipment Available : Telehealth equipment available

Support Staff Available : Nurse Practitioners

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Rate : TBD

Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance : Covered

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses : Active Virginia license

Board : Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry

DEA : Active DEA Certification

Certifications : NPI

Experience : No history of malpractice or disciplinary actions

Other Qualifications : Ability to handle correctional population and emergency phone consults

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management

Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and Chief Psychiatrist

Deliver care either onsite or via telehealth (as applicable)

Be available for 24 / 7 emergency consultations via phone

Maintain accurate documentation in EMR (when specified)
