- Familiarity with local and state regulatory requirements, especially in North Carolina
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in the planning, design, and management of water infrastructure projects. Below are some of the day-to-day responsibilities.
Lead or support the design and development of water and wastewater projects, including pump stations, pipelines, treatment plant upgrades, and distribution systemsPrepare construction drawings, technical specification, engineering reports, and cost estimates to support project planning, design, and implementationCoordinate with clients, subconsultants, regulatory agencies, and internal teamsAssist in permitting and regulatory compliance processesSupport project management, budgeting, and schedulingConduct site visits and oversee construction activities as neededMentor junior staff and support business development efforts
