Job Description :
The Test Technician, completes work according to instructions, specifications and procedures. Conducts a variety of tests and verifications on electro and electromechanical equipment, while providing accuracy, productivity and on-time delivery.
Responsibilities
Performs a range of routine mechanical and / or electromechanical testing of small parts or components in accordance with company instructions and proceduresReviews shop traveler route card, or schematic drawings to confirm correct sequence of operationPerform a variety of test to verify circuitry and to test effectiveness of components in amplifiers and electronic equipment.Receive parts or units from customers and troubleshoots circuits and components using schematic drawings and prints as a verifying check.Perform test and diagnostics using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DVM, signal generators, power meters, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meters, frequency counters and other related test equipmentSets up test equipment and tests per specificationPerforms troubleshooting and failure analysis of analog and digital circuitry malfunctions to the micro component levelProvides detailed written failure description with root cause analysis to production and engineeringFollows written and verbal instructions, adheres to all company guidelines, policies and proceduresMaintains a safe and clean work environment, an acceptable safety record and follows company safety rulesOther responsibilities as assignedRegular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessaryEducation : A Secondary Certificate / High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations
Certifications : Vocational training, apprenticeships or the equivalent experience in related field
Years Experience : 2 years or more of relevant experience
Skills :
