BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Network Security Administrator for an opportunity which is in Denver, CO

Job Title : Network Security Administrator

Expected Duration : 6+ Months

Location : Denver, CO

Job Description : Responsibilities :

Hands-on experience in LAN / WAN network administration, configuration, and troubleshooting
Plus if has familiarity with Cisco networking equipment (routers, switches, firewalls)
Ability to follow and execute network configuration scripts and implementation work plans
Comfortable conducting on-site diagnostics and physical network maintenance

Qualifications :

Minimum 3-4 years of network security or similar experience; preferably within a professional services firm or similar environment

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college / university or equivalent work experience preferred

Knowledge or training in monitoring, configuring, and troubleshooting with Cisco ASA, remote access VPN, firewall technologies, Cisco AnyConnect, IP Sec VPN, proxy appliances, DNS, and WAN

Experience with packet capture analyzers, TCP / IP subnetting, Telnet / SSH clients, Raritan or terminal server remote access, Service Now ticket handling system, inventory and maintenance tracking, and vendor support case handling
