Job description

LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Urgent Care MD in California!

About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Urgent Care Physician for a 1-day locum tenens assignment in California starting Oct 21, 2025. This short-term opportunity features a single Tuesday shift from 8am to 7pm, providing care for minor injuries and urgent concerns in a dynamic urgent care environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Deliver high-quality patient care for minor injuries and urgent medical concerns in an urgent care setting
  • Suture wounds as needed
  • Ensure all care meets clinical and regulatory standards
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Collaborate with clinic staff to optimize patient flow

    • Additional Information

  • Prior urgent care experience preferred
  • Must be able to suture
  • Active California license required
  • Board certification in Urgent Care required
  • PECOS enrollment required
