Position Summary :

The Medical Assistant (MA) plays a vital role in our interdisciplinary care team by providing direct patient care support and administrative assistance. This individual will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure our patients-many of whom face significant barriers to care-receive dignified, efficient, and culturally sensitive services.

Key Responsibilities :

Clinical Support :

• Prepare exam rooms and assist with patient intake, including vitals, medical histories, and screening questionnaires.
• Support providers during examinations and procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines per provider orders and scope of practice.
• Collect and process lab specimens (e.g., blood, urine).
• Perform point-of-care testing and ensure proper documentation.
