About The Position

We are seeking a Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) for a 40-hour evening shift . The role involves decontaminating, sterilizing, and organizing surgical instruments and equipment for various hospital departments, ensuring all instruments are safe and ready for use in patient care. This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail, knowledge of sterilization procedures, and proper handling of surgical instruments and scopes.

Job Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in sterile processing (first-timers not accepted)

Certification required : IAHCSMM / HSPA Sterile Reprocessing Certification

Certifications preferred : Endoscope Reprocessing Certification

Experience with Acute Hospital OR, chemical decontamination, washers / sterilizers, ultrasonic cleaners, and HLD procedures

Knowledge of aseptic technique, tray assembly, scope reprocessing, and sterilization monitoring

Ability to work mid-evening shifts : Sundays 3 PM–11 PM; Tues–Fri & Sat 12 PM–8 PM

Strong organizational and documentation skills
