Kubernetes Platform Engineer

A company is looking for a Kubernetes Platform Engineer (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement platform services in Kubernetes while collaborating with other engineering teams

Debug and troubleshoot critical technical issues, mentoring team members as needed

Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes within a distributed team environment

Required Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship required; Secret level security clearance is preferred

9 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 7 years with a Master's; or 4 years with a PhD / JD; or 13 years relevant experience with a High School Diploma

Professional experience with Go programming and a strong understanding of Kubernetes and its ecosystem

Experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)

Solid understanding of Linux systems, networks, and security
