RN Job Details – Tennessee Healthcare Jobs

Location : Martin, TN 38237 (West Tennessee nursing jobs)

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 8 / 2025 – End : 3 / 9 / 2026)

Shift : Night Shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (7 : 00pm – 7 : 00am)

Hours per Week : 36

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend

Floating : May float to Antepartum, NICU, Postpartum / Nursery units

Holiday Coverage : Required to work 12 / 24 & 12 / 31

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1610-$1730

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent LDRP experience (Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Nursery)

Active RN license (Compact or Tennessee)

BLS, ACLS, AWHONN, and NRP certifications required

Epic charting experience within the last 12 months (must be detailed on profile)

Travel nursing experience required

COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical / religious exemptions for COVID only)

Previous charge nurse and community hospital experience preferred

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive care to laboring mothers and newborns in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery settings

Float to related units as needed (Antepartum, NICU, Postpartum / Nursery)

Assist with high-risk deliveries, cesarean sections, and newborn assessments

Administer medications and monitor maternal and fetal well-being

Educate and support patients and families on postpartum care, breastfeeding, and newborn safety

Document patient care using Epic EMR system

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, and interpretation services

Maintain patient safety and adhere to infection control protocols
