Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time speech-language pathologist (SLP) or speech-language pathology assistant (SLPA) is needed to support middle and high school students in a middle school setting. This contract position, starting as soon as possible, offers an opportunity to work with a diverse caseload during the current school year (CSY) in Elberton, GA.

Responsibilities include :

  • Evaluating and assessing speech and language disorders in middle and high school students
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborating with teachers and other educational professionals to support students communication needs
  • Maintaining accurate records and progress reports
  • Providing direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings

Qualifications :

  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology or appropriate school certification in speech-language pathology
  • Experience working in a school environment with middle and high school populations preferred
  • Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorder interventions
  • Ability to manage a full caseload independently and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • For SLPA applicants, appropriate school assistant licensure is required
