Production Associate (3rd Shift) – Medical Device Manufacturing Location : Sumter, SC Type : Long-Term Contract / Contract-to-Hire Pay : $15.50 / hr (includes $0.50 shift differential) Schedule : Monday–Friday, 12 : 00 AM – 8 : 00 AM (3rd Shift) About the Role We are seeking a dedicated Production Associate to join a leading medical device manufacturer in Sumter, SC. As a Production Associate, you’ll perform tasks involved in the fabrication, assembly, testing, and packaging of medical devices. You’ll operate and maintain equipment, follow detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities Assemble and manufacture medical devices following established SOPs and work instructions. Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment as needed. Conduct in-process quality inspections in accordance with specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work area to meet safety and quality standards. Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals. Rotate between different tasks and responsibilities as required. Requirements High School Diploma or GED required. 2–3 years of manufacturing or assembly experience, preferably in a regulated industry. Ability to read, write, and interpret specifications written in English. Strong attention to detail and quality focus. Effective communication skills and teamwork abilities. Basic math and measurement skills, including use of microscopes or similar tools. Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to work flexible and / or extended hours as needed.
