Warehouse Specialist

Collins Aerospace is looking for Warehouse Specialists to join our Aftermarket team. In this position you will be responsible for receiving of parts and preparing inventory for shipment to the client. This position requires you to be always organized and safety conscious.

This position is based on-site at our Chula Vista, CA facility and will be part of the IAM Local 755.

What You Will Do :

• Work 1st shift hours Monday - Friday (6 : 30am - 3pm)
• Pull parts that have been stored in a warehouse stored as inventory.
• Cycle counting of inventory.
• Opening of supplier product to be stored in a warehouse.
• Box and prep customer orders for shipment.
• Process, store, and send inventory according to purchase orders and shipping schedules.
• Load and unload orders from various carriers and freight forwarders.
• Organize incoming deliveries.
• Apply the appropriate labels on outgoing parcels.
• Operate licensed lift trucks of any capacity.
• Maintain good shop practices including safety and housekeeping.
• This position stands for long periods of time.
• You will be carrying loads up to 30 pounds.

The starting rate for this role is $22.28 per hour; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education / training, and key skills.
