Summary
Carries out duties of Tool Room Administrative Assistant in cooperation with Section Manager and Tooling Specialist. Receives guidance from Tool Room Section Manager as well as from Plant Manager and Tool Room Coordinator. The Team member must follow all safety and work policy requirements while performing job duties. Each Team Member must be in compliance with quality and delivery expectations in order to maintain and / or reduce cost.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE
One-year certificate from college or technical school, three to five years of related experience and / or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively after groups of customers or employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts, basic mathematical skills is a must in order to work in this position. Ability to use 10 key calculator.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

The Team Member must occasionally lift and / or move up to 100 pounds. The Team Member must be able to lift a container of fasteners weighing up to 25 pounds on a regular basis. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is frequently required to sit; to use their hands to finger, handle, or feel; and to talk or hear.
