As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) you will engage with the children in our care by providing exceptional pediatric nursing care that supports not just the health, but also the joyful growth of every child we serve.
Duties :
- Administers medications to patients orally, intra-, or subcutaneously
- Monitors effects of medications, records medication given and patient’s reactions
- Observes and monitors movement and activities of patients in the PPEC
- Assists / reviews MAR monthly and as needed to ensure accuracy
- Writes daily progress notes, nursing notes and reports of unusual incidents
- Recognizes and promptly reports condition changes to supervisor
Requirements :
Experience in a pediatric care setting, preferably with patients that are medically complexValid Pennsylvania LPN LicenseCPR certification requiredMust be able to pass a Level II background checkMust be able to regularly lift and carry at least 50 lbs. safelyExceptional written and verbal communication skillsExceptional time management and attention to detailPrompt documentation and reporting skillsWhy You’ll Like Working Here
