What You’ll Do

As an Insurance Underwriter, you will :

• Evaluate Applications : Review and analyze Property & Casualty submissions to determine risk acceptability, pricing, and coverage.
• Assess Risk : Use established underwriting guidelines, actuarial data, and industry standards to make sound, profitable decisions.
• Collaborate : Work closely with brokers, agents, and internal teams to clarify coverage details, explain underwriting decisions, and build long-term relationships.
• Drive Results : Recommend appropriate policy terms and coverage while ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.
• Leverage Technology : Utilize Applied EPIC and other underwriting tools to manage workflows, documentation, and policy information efficiently.
• Monitor Performance : Track portfolio profitability, watch for emerging trends, and recommend strategies to improve results.
• Stay Current : Keep up with market conditions, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure competitive, compliant underwriting.
