Senior Software Engineer

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Cloud Foundations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of features for the Cloud Operational API, Temporal Workflows, and data pipelines

Drive architectural discussions to ensure scalability, reliability, and efficiency of services

Mentor team engineers and improve tools, processes, and engineering practices

Required Qualifications

5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in scalable distributed systems

Strong understanding of distributed systems concepts such as consensus, concurrency, and fault tolerance

Proficiency in writing concurrent code in languages like Go, Java, or similar

Experience designing and operating production systems in a cloud environment (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

Track record of driving projects from concept through design, implementation, and operations
