Our practices include Barnet Dulaney Perkins Eye Center, Southwestern Eye Center, Retinal Consultants of Arizona, M&M Eye Institute, Abrams Eye Institute, Southwest Eye Institute, Aiello Eye Institute, Moretsky Cassidy Vision Correction, Wellish Vision Institute, Vantage Eye Center, and West Texas Eye Associates. We are focused on building the nation's largest and most comprehensive eye care practices and currently operate more than 100 eye care centers in Arizona, New Mexico, California, Nevada, and Texas - including 25 ambulatory surgical centers.

As a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA), you'll be responsible for providing anesthesia care in the operating suite and pre-operative area. This is a per diem role and will operate out of our Barnet Dulaney Perkins surgical center located at 2242 West 16th Street. Schedule is every Wednesday.

Responsibilities :

• Function as a member of the operating room team.
• Provide information and emotional support to patients and their families.
• Formulate an appropriate and safe anesthetic care plan for each patient utilizing the history, physical, laboratory data, discussion with patients, and any source of information that will aid in its development
• Provide anesthesia care utilizing one or more of the following techniques : retrobulbar, topical, local infiltration, intravenous sedation and / or analgesia.
• If appropriate, management of or assisting the physician and staff in the management of any clinical emergency in the surgery suite or eye clinic.
• Participate in planning for peri-operative patient care with physicians and nursing staff.
• Maintain accurate and complete records of each patient's anesthesia.
• Alert the person responsible for restocking anesthesia supplies when items are needed
