We are currently seeking a Technical Program Manager in the Logistics domain to support cross-functional projects. This pivotal role involves overseeing operations such as Warehouse Management platform rollouts, enhancing distribution center (DC) efficiencies, and improving logistics processes including Final Mile and Returns.
Day to Day Responsibilities :
- Utilize project management methodologies to drive complex programs with vendor and WSI deliveries adhering to aligned flight plans.
- Monitor program issues and risks, working with project managers to address status reporting effectively and engaging leadership on strategic direction.
- Employ industry-standard tools like JIRA and Rally to manage project scopes, define work estimates, and develop execution plans that ensure team success.
- Facilitate discussions with business users and product stakeholders to refine business requirements for Supply Chain and Logistics systems.
- Oversee configuration activities and the development of customized extensions (MODs) in the Warehouse Management System (WMOS).
- Manage integration points between WMOS and upstream / downstream systems, including IBM Sterling and 3PL logistics providers.
- Ensure quality assurance of Microservices interfaces and manage error logging and performance monitoring.
- Oversee the development of reports related to supply chain and logistics systems utilizing Snowflake and MS Power BI.
- Perform financial project management including budgeting, forecasting, and cost-benefit analysis, while proactively addressing budgetary issues.
- Handle multiple complex projects simultaneously, ensuring quality control and the implementation of corrective actions as needed.
- Develop and communicate project quality control policies, procedures, and expectations to all stakeholders.
- Identify interdependencies between projects and coordinate strategic communications effectively.
- Lead high-performance cross-functional teams and foster effective partnerships across departments.
- Collaborate with product vendors to resolve project-related issues through careful negotiation and analysis.
Minimum Requirements :
Bachelor's or master's in Computer Science Applications or equivalent experience.10+ years of Project / Program management experience.8+ years of relevant experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, and Retail.8+ years working with Manhattan WMOS.5+ years of experience with IBM Sterling Order Management System.Preferred Skills :
Technical expertise in Logistics IT systems and architecture.Experience collaborating with developers to achieve technical milestones.Success in managing large programs within the Retail or Logistics sectors.Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems, particularly Manhattan.Experience in project estimating and budgeting tools.Familiarity with multi-platform system integration.Ability to create and drive project roadmaps and flight plans.Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive meaningful insights from data.In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies / tools including JIRA and Rally.Proven track record of holding third-party vendors accountable for project timelines.Expert in creating executable program schedules that clearly show dependencies.Strong communication and facilitation skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.A proactive approach to project execution and a strong drive to achieve outcomes.We are dedicated to a flexible work environment, responding to evolving client and employee needs.
