Job description

Title : Senior IT Project Manager

Job Type :

Regular Company : Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center Department : Information Technology Time Type : Full time Weekly Hours : 40 FTE : 1 Shift : First Shift (United States of America) Summary : Plans and manages the activities of IT projects of larger size, complexity and / or importance to ensure that project goals are accomplished and deadlines are met within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters; oversees all aspects of such projects; establishes deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project; prepares reports for stakeholders regarding status of project.

Salary range for this position is $123,793 - $156,224 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package. Qualifications : Required Education and Experience

1. Master's degree and the equivalent of eight (8) years of full-time experience in an information technology environment with healthcare business, clinical or infrastructure expertise, including six (6) years engaged in project management activities; or

2. Bachelor's degree and the equivalent of ten (10) years of full-time experience in an information technology environment with healthcare business, clinical or infrastructure expertise, including six (6) years engaged in project management activities; or

3. Associate's degree and the equivalent of twelve (12) years of full-time experience in an information technology environment with healthcare business, clinical or infrastructure expertise, including six (6) years engaged in project management activities.

NOTE :

Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.

Preferred Qualifications :

The preferred candidate will have Healthcare IT project management experience, cancer research IT project management experience, academic medical center IT project management, and IT project management experience.
