Job descriptionKey Responsibilities : Culinary Duties : Prepare and cook meals that meet the dietary needs and preferences of residents. Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating residents’ feedback and dietary restrictions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dining areas, adhering to health and safety regulations. Assist with inventory management, including ordering and tracking supplies and food items. Ensure proper food storage and handling procedures are followed to minimize waste and ensure freshness. Serving Duties : Serve meals to residents in a friendly and timely manner, enhancing their dining experience. Provide attentive and courteous service, responding to residents’ needs and preferences. Assist with setting up and cleaning the dining area before and after meals. Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure a smooth workflow and effective communication during service times. Qualifications : Previous experience in food service, catering, or hospitality preferred. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Compassionate and patient demeanor, with a strong emphasis on customer service.
