Position : Space Environments Engineer on the NASA JSC Engineering, Technology, and Science (JETS) II contract. As an integral part of the Engineering Department in the Materials Analysis section, you will contribute to NASA JSC programs on the JETS II contract and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to meet and exceed standards.
International travel may be required. Straight time overtime, a 9 / 80 work schedule (every other Friday off), and / or 1 day of telework per week may be available.

Qualifications
Additional degree levels (M.S. / Ph.D.) in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Nuclear), Physics or Chemistry; GPA 3.0 or higher; 5+ years of related experience; experience with coding (Fortran, Python, C++, MATLAB); HPC / LINUX experience; knowledge of space environments and related models; experience with software to implement analytical models; experience with relevant tools (NASCAP, SPIS, SPENVIS, MCNP, etc.).
