Executive Chef Requirements & Qualifications
Proven experience managing fine dining and high-volume kitchens (200–400+ covers nightly)Experience overseeing multiple teams or kitchen locationsAbility to lead, train, and mentor Sous Chefs and cooksStrong organizational skills and experience with kitchen systems and vendor managementAbility to maintain food costs and drive operational profitabilityClear, proactive communicator with FOH / BOH teamsCalm, collaborative leadership style under pressureExperience creating staffing schedules and conducting staff reviews with written feedbackAbility to manage vendor accounts and ensure timely paymentsExecutive Chef Preferred Background & Skills
Experience in elevated, seasonal, ingredient-driven cuisineStrong financial and analytical skillsTrack record of building inclusive, collaborative kitchen culturesAbility to streamline operations and consolidate teams for efficiencyExperience balancing creativity with operational execution at scale
