Position Overview client is seeking an experienced Software Engineer 3 to support the IT Administrative Applications Robotic Process Automation (RPA) team. This senior-level position is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise RPA solutions using technologies such as Blue Prism, Microsoft Power Automate, and Azure. The role requires deep technical expertise, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced Agile (Kanban / Scrum) environment. The contractor will perform solution design, bot development, testing, troubleshooting, infrastructure coordination, and ongoing optimization of automated processes.
Level : 8 or more years of experience, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, may lead and direct the work of others, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Additional job details and special considerations The Department of Information Resources (DIR) requires the service of Software Engineer 3 position who meets the general qualifications of Software Engineer 3 and the specifications outlined in this document for the above-named customer. The Software Engineer 3 contractor position is part of the IT Administrative Applications Robotic Process Automation (RPA) team and will play a crucial role in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining RPA solutions. The Software Engineer 3 will perform developer duties that will include solution design and development, process automations, infrastructure management, collaboration, and continuous improvement. The contractor role is for a senior robotics developer for technologies that may include BluePrism, Microsoft Power Automate, and Azure. The role will be responsible for developing, testing, and troubleshooting bots that will automate various business processes. Hands-on experience with BluePrism, Microsoft Power Automate, and Azure is a must along with the ability to troubleshoot and validate HTTP responses. Knowledge of DOM, HTTP protocol, JavaScript, and HTML is also required. This will be a fast-paced project working in an Agile (Kanban / Scrum) environment.
