3rd Shift Related Corn Cooker

3rd Shift : 12am / midnight-8am

1st Shift : 8am- 4pm

As a Corn Cooker, you will p repare raw batches of corn to be used in the production of corn-based products.

Areas of Responsibilities :

• DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES :
• Prepare batches of corn by filling kettle with water and adding corn and lime
• Observe and maintain cooking time
• Cook corn and agitate, then transfer to the holding tank
• Must be able to lift to 50 pounds
• WEEKLY RESPONSIBILITES :
• Perform Weekly / Weekend cleaning on kettles, tanks, and surrounding areas
• Work with cleaning chemicals
• Always utilize all required PPE .
• OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES :
• Perform any added duties as assigned by supervision
• Attend required training sessions
• Work overtime, as required
• Follow GHP (Good Housekeeping practices) as well as GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
• Work towards attaining and maintaining GFSI & BRC certifications
