Patent Agent – Patents & Emerging Technologies

Locations : Silicon Valley (preferred), Washington, D.C., Boston, New York, Seattle

Full-Time | #LI-HYBRID

Direct Counsel is representing an AmLaw 100 firm seeking Patent Agents with 2+ years of patent prosecution experience to join its top-ranked Patents & Emerging Technologies group . This is an exciting opportunity to work with a team consistently recognized among the best in the U.S. and internationally, with deep technical expertise across technology and life sciences.

What We’re Looking For

2+ years of patent prosecution experience

Strong technical background in one or more of the following :

• Electrical Engineering
• Computer Science
• Computer Engineering
• Bioinformatics
• Biostatistics
• Physics (or equivalent experience)

M.S. or higher degree preferred

USPTO registration required

Excellent academic credentials

Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary Range : $112,500 – $250,000 (commensurate with experience, education, and location)

Discretionary performance-based bonus eligibility
