Mission :
The mission of Bread for the City is to help Washington, DC residents living with low income to develop the power to determine the future of their own communities. We provide food, clothing, medical care, and legal and social services to reduce the burden of poverty. We seek justice through community organizing and public advocacy. Position Profile :
Provide the full scope of primary care services which fall under his / her field of training, including but not limited to diagnosis, treatment, coordination of care, preventive care and health maintenance to patients. In addition, a Primary Care Physician is a member of the Bread for the City team. In that capacity they are expected to be familiar with the philosophy, goals and objectives of Bread and work collaboratively to achieve them.
Essential Responsibilities :
- Obtain health history and perform physical examinations;
- Diagnose, treat, refer when indicated and provide preventive care to all
patients;
