We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Responsibilities:
• Perform thorough bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
• Maintain and review balance sheet accounts to support financial accuracy and compliance.
• Record and analyze debits and credits while ensuring proper categorization.
• Prepare and manage general ledger entries to support seamless financial operations.
• Utilize accounting systems and software to verify and maintain data integrity.
• Assist with month-end closing processes and generate basic financial reports.
• Leverage technology to improve processes and enhance overall efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and support financial accuracy.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline preferred,
• Strong knowledge of fundamental accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
• Ability to quickly adapt to and learn new financial systems and tools.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Capability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
