Company : Olio Italian is an upscale, Italian dining concept with a full bar and private event space. Our experience offers guests an authentic sampling of Italian cuisine, as well as Old and New World Wines, available to be served family style or by individual order.
Job Description : Prep cooks do much of the preparation for the dishes that are served. This includes chopping vegetables, breaking down, cutting or grinding meat, weighing and mixing ingredients, washing and preparing vegetables, storing food, and more. Washing dishes and cleaning projects will also be involved in your daily job. We are a fine dining Italian restaurant and make all pastas in-house.
Job Purpose : To support the preparation of our menu items, contributing to our mission to provide an excellent guest experience.
Job Qualifications :
- Ability to follow directions pertaining to food safety, chemical safety, and daily maintenance of equipment
 - Ability to read and follow a recipe
 - Reliable transportation to and from work
 - Works days, nights, holidays and / or weekends as required
 - Ability to work in a team environment
 - Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
 - Must have problem solving abilities, and time-management skills
 - Commitment to accurately and quickly prepare and deliver items to guests
 - Coachability
 - Pleasant and friendly demeanor through entire shift
 - Commitment to cleanliness of our facility : willingness to assist in cleaning of restrooms, auditoriums, and other areas as directed

Job Tasks :
Adhere to company standards of cleanliness in all areas of our facilityPrepare ingredients for our menu itemsEnsure proper use of chemicals while cleaning, and proper use of any equipmentEnsure kitchen operations are running smoothly by completing all “Jolt” checklists in a timely mannerPro-active in getting things done and exceeding expectations of both guests and team membersObserve and follow sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of cinemaStocking and putting away items in concessions and in restroomsShowing flexibility and willingness to perform tasks outside of an assigned positionComplete training and attend classes as directedTaking out trash as necessaryComply to all manager requests for any cleaning tasks or other dutiesGreeting and welcoming, answering questions, thanking and saying goodbye to guestsPhysical Requirements
