Job description

MBS is hiring a Technical Writer in Mason, OH. This position is full-time, temp to hire opportunity.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Creation of a documentation methodology and framework and maintains proper methodology for purposes of consistency and efficiency.
This role prepares and / or maintains documentation pertaining to programming, system design, software operation, product description documents, installation documentation and user documentation.
This position translates business and technical specifications into documentation to be used by Sales, Marketing, the technical development team and user documentation.
This position is familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS

Must have the ability to communicate easily.

BA or BS degree with a minimum of two years work experience writing technical documentation.

Experience with the Microsoft Word and Power Point products as well as ability to use graphic editing software.

Experience with a document archival system

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

PC skills required (including MS Office).

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in fast-paced environment.

Ability to move or lift up to 50+ lbs.

Ability to reach, grasp, hold, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel.

Ability to utilize hand / eye coordination.

Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time
