This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced finance team in an industry-leading company. The Assistant Controller will be the Controller's right hand and play a pivotal role in managing and controlling the financial processes and systems within the organization, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and other relevant regulations. The role will also play a key role in the implementation of new accounting standards and the documentation of accounting policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
• Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Performing balance sheet and P&L reconciliations, identifying and explaining variances.
• Coordinating with various departments to consolidate financial information and prepare consolidated financial statements.
• Implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting and control.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, including sales and property tax laws.
• Managing the preparation and filing of all tax returns, ensuring timely and accurate compliance.
• Assisting with internal and external audits, providing all necessary documentation and information.
• Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of FASB standards and staying updated on changes.
• Performing other related duties as assigned, including inventory management, policy development, and financial services.
