Ultrasound Technologist II- Per Diem

Hourly Pay Range : $35.35 - $54.79 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Ultrasound Technologist- Per Diem / Registry Posit i on H i gh li ghts : Position : Ultrasound Technologist Location : Highland Park Hospital Full Time / Part Time : Registry Hours : As needed, Saturdays Call : 4-6 calls per month / as needed Required Travel : Local- Glenbrook, Vernon Hills, Gurnee What you will do : Perform ultrasound exam Prepare patients for exam : obtains and records history, explains procedure, positions patients and ensures their comfort Interprets ultrasound Cleans and maintains equipment Schedules patients if necessary What you will need : License : N / A Education : High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience Certification : CPR-BLS required. Completion of formal ultrasound program approved by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers required.
