Schedule Nights : 12 hour shifts (6 : 45 PM - 7 : 15 AM) Job Description The Emergency Department Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a compassionate approach to patient care. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency department. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Utilize critical thinking skills to prioritize and address patient needs swiftly. Monitor and document patient progress and responses to treatments. Comply with all hospital policies and regulations. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Three (3) years of recent Emergency Department experience required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required. Travel experience required (completed at least one contract assignment). High volume / fast pace experience preferred. New Jersey Nursing License (or Compact License) required.
