Schedule Day shift, 3x12 hour shifts. Job Description The Registered Nurse (RN) maintains the delivery of quality care by ensuring the nursing care plan is followed. The RN supervises Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees while promoting patient and employee safety. Responsibilities Perform nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission. Identify teaching needs and goals related to each patient's diagnosis. Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses in a timely manner. Participate in the patient rehabilitation program and ensure education for patients and families. Initiate discharge planning from the day of admission. Communicate changes in patient status to the care team to support continuity of care. Provide supervision and training to ancillary nursing personnel. Assure personal and environmental safety according to hospital policies. Engage in professional development through continuing education and self-study. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure BLS Certification required prior to first shift. ACLS certification required prior to first shift (specific to certain locations). Minimum two years of bedside clinical experience required.
