Summit TRC is looking for an experienced and motivated Systems Engineer to join our team supporting advanced command and control systems. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between end-users and engineering teams through eliciting, developing, and managing system requirements while contributing to system architecture and integration.

This role will be performed onsite in Huntsville, AL

Key Responsibilities :

• Work closely with end users to elicit and capture requirements from capability developers, warfighters, and initial capability descriptions
• Develop and decompose system-level requirements ensuring traceability across the system lifecycle
• Capture use cases, features, and user stories for software and systems development
• Analyze and evaluate system architectures and implementations, including review of engineering artifacts and source code
• Develop and document system-of-systems (SoS) architectures and configurations
• Identify and design key command-and-control (C2) interfaces and data connections between sensors, shooters, and C2 systems
• Manage requirements development and maintenance in MBSE toolsets
