Mericle Construction, Inc. is currently seeking a skilled Electrical Professional Engineer with a PE license and the ability to seal construction drawings for permitting. This role calls for strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and leadership to deliver innovative engineering solutions.
Mericle Construction, Inc. is the largest, full-service developer of industrial, office, flex, and medical space along Pennsylvania’s I-81 Corridor. Mericle has developed more than 100 buildings in the Scranton / Pittston / Wilkes -Barre / Hazleton area. The Mericle team includes licensed architects, land planners, professional engineers, surveyors, licensed electricians, plumbers, carpenters, leasing and marketing professionals, property managers, and more.
MUST HAVE PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING LICENSE
Responsibilities :
- Design, analyze, and optimize electrical systems and components for diverse applications.
- Develop detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports for project requirements.
- Perform calculations and simulations to ensure compliance with industry standards and codes.
- Lead a dedicated electrical design team in executing project drawings and work packages.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, plumbing, civil, and software engineers, for integrated solutions.
- Conduct field inspections and site visits to monitor progress and provide technical support.
- Review and approve design changes, modifications, and as-built drawings.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and technicians to foster professional growth.
- Prepare and present technical proposals and reports to stakeholders.
- Stay updated on advancements in electrical engineering technologies and industry best practices.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.Electrical PE license (required).Minimum of 5 years’ experience in electrical engineering or related field.Strong knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., NEC, IEEE).Proficiency in AutoCAD and related tools.Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.What We Offer :
