Inpatient Hospital Pharmacist - Tucson AZ

Are you an experienced Hospital Pharmacist seeking a daytime schedule in a supportive small-hospital environment? We are hiring an Inpatient Pharmacist for a 20-bed campus in suburban Tucson, AZ, with an ASAP start and the option to transition to permanent employment.

Start Date : ASAP

Schedule : MondayFriday, Day Shift

Weekend Rotation : Minimal / As Assigned

Type : 13-Week Contract Temp-to-Hire (if desired)

Setting : Small inpatient hospital (20 beds)

Key Responsibilities :

Verify and review medication orders for safety and appropriateness

Collaborate with physicians on drug therapy and dosing

Provide medication education for nursing staff, providers, and patients

Support medication safety efforts and adverse drug reaction reporting

Prepare IV admixtures and nutritional supplements

Maintain accurate controlled substance accountability

Ensure compliance with DEA regulations, state board standards, and TJC requirements

Requirements :

Active Arizona Pharmacist License

Prior & recent Inpatient experience

Strong sterile compounding and clinical verification skills

Ability to work independently within a small hospital setting
