Clinical Nurse role in Radiology Department at Mount Sinai Hospital.
Provides safe, competent quality care based on nursing theory and research to a designated group of patients and significant others.
Delivers patient care incorporating Relationship Centered Care and nursing process based on theory, research, evidence-based practice, and organizational nursing standards.
Assesses and evaluates patient care needs applying critical thinking skills.
Collaborates with interdisciplinary healthcare team in plan of care development, implementation, and evaluation.
Prioritizes patient care including teaching, rounding, coaching, planning after hospital care, and delegation.
Educates patients and caregivers about plan of care, transition of care, health promotion, and disease prevention.
Communicates effectively with patients, family, and healthcare team members.
Manages assignments within Modified Primary Nursing Care Delivery Model and allocates material resources effectively.
Role models Mount Sinai Relationship Centered Care through various patient care actions.
Considers patient values, preferences, cultural diversity, and expressed needs in care.
Establishes and maintains therapeutic relationships with patients and families.

Job Requirements
