Position Overview :

Our progressive, Quaker, preK through 6th grade co-educational day school in Lansdowne, PA, seeks a talented marketing and graphics professional to lead the production of our parent newsletter, Weekly Notes, manage social media updates, and provide photography and content updates for the school website. This role works closely with the Development Director to ensure consistent, high-quality communications that reflect and strengthen the school’s mission and community.

The successful candidate will be embedded in daily school life, actively capturing stories and images that showcase the vibrancy of LFS. Preference will be given to candidates who know and understand the culture of the school community. We seek candidates who will broaden the racial, cultural and gender identity of the school community.

Key Responsibilities :

Weekly Notes (parent newsletter)

• Plan themes and source stories that highlight school life
• Write, edit, and curate content to reflect the values and vibrancy of LFS
• Coordinate and edit submissions from faculty, staff, and families
• Select, take, and edit photographs
• Design and produce each issue in Constant Contact or similar platform
• Create content as necessary in Canva or similar platform
• Ensure accuracy, brand consistency, and timely weekly distribution
