Job Summary
The Office of the Commissioner of the Revenue is currently seeking applicants for a Tax Exemptions and Deferrals Specialist I. The successful candidate must have great organizational, time management and customer service skills with ability to manage a high volume of applications and work under deadlines. The Tax Exemptions and Deferrals Specialist I will :
The Specialist I will join a team of six other program specialists responsible for administration of the following County exemptions and deferrals programs :
Minimum Qualifications
Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to an associate's degree and two (2) years of experience in Finance, Taxation or related field. Bilingual language skills preferred.
Requires :
Strong analytical skills (research skills).
Attention to details.
Customer service and team work.
Planning and organization.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Solid written and verbal communication skills.
Must be flexible and have the ability to independently exercise good professional judgment.
Job Contingencies and Special Requirements
