SUMMER CAMP POSITIONS – OLDER COMPANY (CAMPERS AGES 8-17)

Local candidates and those considering a permanent move to the Denver / Boulder area are preferred; outstanding out-of-town candidates are given full consideration.

MUSIC DIRECTOR We are seeking experienced music directors with a background in musical theatre for the summer season. Ideal candidates should have at minimum a BA and two years of experience teaching within the 8-16 age range. Music directors need to be able to teach vocal parts, provide proper voice technique, and assist students in creating dynamic and interesting musical pieces. These camps are fast-paced and put on full productions within 2-4 weeks. The ability to work closely with the director and choreographer is crucial, and candidates must be comfortable working with large groups of children. Music directors are expected to accompany the shows as well as rehearsals, so strong piano skills are required. This is a full-time summer position.
