Hybrid (3 days onsite in Farmers Branch, TX)

Overview :

Our Financial Client is seeking a Senior Power Apps Developer to join our growing technology team. This role will play a key part in designing, developing, and delivering innovative solutions using Microsoft Power Apps as our go-forward platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in traditional application development, a solid understanding of modern software practices, and the ability to guide architectural decisions that support scalable and efficient business solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and deploy applications using Power Apps and related technologies.
  • Lead the creation of Proof of Concepts (POCs) to demonstrate new capabilities and technical approaches.
  • Integrate Power Apps solutions with external data sources , ensuring reliable connectivity and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Provide architecture guidance and contribute to platform standards and best practices.
  • Utilize source code management tools to maintain clean, version-controlled environments.
  • Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Serve as a technical mentor and advisor within the development team.
  • Required Qualifications :

  • 5+ years of software development experience, with a strong background in traditional application development.
  • Hands-on experience with Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven Apps).
  • Experience with scripting and front-end technologies , such as Java or similar languages.
  • Demonstrated experience connecting Power Apps to external data sources and APIs.
  • Strong understanding of Dataverse and SQL , including key differences and integration approaches.
  • Familiarity with source control tools (e.g., Git) and software development best practices.
  • Proven ability to guide architecture decisions and contribute to technical strategy.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Nice to Have :

  • Experience with Power Automate, Power BI, or other Microsoft Power Platform components.
  • Exposure to Azure services and integrations.
  • Background in enterprise-level application development and solution delivery
  • Job Type : Full-time

    Pay : $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
