STGi is currently seeking a Registered Dietitian to support our Federal Occupational Health contract in Springfield, VA.
JOB SUMMARY:
Plan and conduct food service or nutritional programs to assist in the promotion of health and control of disease. May supervise activities of a department providing quantity food services, counsel individuals, or conduct nutritional research.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Providing health-related dietary instruction and consultation. Coordinating, planning, and conducting programs to educate patients about nutrition; administering medical nutrition therapy; overseeing and providing advice to food service operations.
Required Skills
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
· Two years' experience as a nutritionist or dietitian.
Required Experience
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
· Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field and be a registered dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
· One day a week at TSA Headquarters in Springfield, VA.
