Travel Radiology Tech - $55 to $57 per hour in Winchester, VA

Performs radiologic mammography exams per department protocol including advanced Mammography procedures like stereotactic biopsies, clip placements, drainages. Perform the quality control functions related to mammography. Perform mammography procedures in a technically proficient manner. Perform high quality radiologic and mammography exams on incoming patients. Assess patient’s medical condition, age, size and other related medical conditions to determine if patient is able to undergo mammography examination and to how best to obtain optimal results / images. Assume responsibility for mammography equipment and reports equipment malfunction. Demonstrates the ability to operate mammography and biopsy equipment properly. Conducts daily, weekly and monthly QC testing to ensure the quality control functions related to mammography.
